About

Welcome to Wildman Fishing Tours, the Northern Territory’s premium fishing charter and tourism operator.

We take you straight to the fishing hot spots, where you can chase wild Barramundi, Jewfish, Threadfin Salmon, Snapper, Mackerel, Trevally, Coral Trout and Cod. Destinations include the Mary, Finniss and Daly Rivers, Dundee Beach, Darwin Harbour and surrounds.

Our professional fishing guides are passionate about fishing and have spent their lives traversing the Top End’s waterways hunting metre plus Barra and massive Threadfin Salmon.  Their only ambition now is to help you catch your ultimate fish!

Your Guide

Jeff Roscoe (formerly Chilled Out Fishing) is the head guide and owner of Wildman Fishing Tours and is a passionate professional Barramundi fisherman.

Having been a fisherman his whole life, and since moving to the Northern Territory, Jeff has been professionally guiding for many years.

During this time, Jeff’s accumulated considerable experience guiding on Melville Island, where he not only learned the reefs and inland waterways but also took a personal interest in the indigenous culture of the island, learning their history, practices, and appreciation of the land.

Since leaving Melville, Jeff has focussed on mainland fishing destinations, including the Mary River, Finniss River, Adelaide River and Darwin Harbour.

One of his favourite fishing destinations is the Little Finnis River, purely because of the amount of Barramundi he and his guests have had the good fortune of catching there.

A family man himself, Jeff loves nothing more than the opportunity to take families out for a day to experience the Top-End waterways, and teach them some fishing techniques they will cherish for a lifetime. His only wish is that every family will get the opportunity to fish together and enjoy this experience and the delicious meals that come afterward.

This is not to say he is not a serious sports fisherman, and when he’s behind the wheel of a boat, there is not a  Barramundi in sight that is safe.

Jeff’s goal is to find better and more exciting ways to get you to your fishing destination, and ensure your day on the water is exceptional!
